Sula

A playful slang term used to refer to someone as your secondary boss or “2nd boss” — not the big boss, but the one who still tells you what to do and manages your day-to-day life at work.
Typically someone like an Assistant Director, Deputy Manager, or anyone just one level below your actual boss. Like a Mini Boss or Work Mummy — they don’t sign your payslip, but you still don’t dare to ignore them.

She’s not the department head, but everyone knows she’s the sula you need to keep happy.
