when you drink an alcoholic beverage out of a styrofoam cup to get drunk. Usually mixed drinks or to hide the fact that its alcohol.

(Man with crown and ginger inside a styrofoam cup on a friday night at 7pm) Man: I am getting styed up before I go out to the bars.
