burr

A house party. It's when someone (typically a teenager or a young adult) is hosting a party at their or their parent(s)' house.

(Not to be confused with an 'Airbnb party'.)

Timmy: "Are you going to that burr Friday? I heard they got bare drinks, we finna get drunk!"
John: "Hell yeah, heard everybody's going too. Plus the house is in our neighbourhood, so not too far."
