The experience of drinking enough kava (drink made from the roots of the South Pacific kava plant) to feel strong relaxation and sedative effects for an extended period of time.

- "Hey, man... want to drink another kava?"

- "Nah, dude. I'm already pretty rooted. Think I'll sit this one out well, if you insist I guess I can have one more."
