VSIP

VSIP: Very Self-Important Person. Used to identify someone who is not a VIP (Very Important Person) but believes he/she is entitled to special treatment because he/she is obviously very special.

VIPs are important people. VSIPs are not.

At the party: “Here comes Theo. He’s a VSIP. If he comes over don’t be nervous, just kiss his ring and you’ll get along just fine.

‘Fear of similarity” - the irrational fear that we are more alike than we are different. Rather than seeking commonality - there are those who actively seek to divide us.

Donald Trump is homeophobic. He leads by by dividing rather than uniting.
