Dreamation refers to a psychological and physical state in which a person, while in deep sleep, suddenly performs real-life actions—like running, speaking, or moving erratically—based on their dream.
During this state, the person appears semi-conscious and may behave as if fully awake, but their actions are driven by the dream itself. The key distinction of Dreamation is that after a few seconds (or minutes), the person regains full awareness and remembers everything they did—both the actions and the dream context—with striking clarity.
Unlike normal sleepwalking or sleep-talking (where people rarely recall anything), a person in Dreamation can say:
“Yes, I remember doing that—but it felt like part of my dream.”
While in Dreamation, the person has no physical control over their actions, even though mentally they may realize something is happening. Once fully awake, they can recall the experience vividly—as if watching themselves dream in real life.

“He suddenly got up from deep sleep and started shouting. Later he said it was a Dreamation—he knew he was dreaming, but couldn’t control it.”
“Unlike sleepwalking, Dreamation lets you remember what you did, like watching yourself dream while your body moves.”
