Men and women who work South out of Kansas City Missouri to Coffeyville Kansas for Union Pacific Railroad. Typically made up of genuinely good people, synonymous for being family men, who want 36-40 hours off between trips and not work constantly like the East and West runs. Only thing that matters to them is spending time with their family and friends at home between trips.

East end rat is the lowest of life forms. Typically works from Kansas City to Jefferson City Missouri for the Union Pacific Railroad. Usually back stabs and dings him or herself into better work or onto deadheads from work trains. Mostly work extra boards but also prevalent in pool turns.
