european-americans have a nasal tone similar to "geese honking" in their speaking manner. New to the American East Coast, the sound emanating from the nasal cavity was quite distinct in european-asians-americans than from that of other nations. Still even today the nasal cavity honking sound can be heard in many asian-european origin peoples. Not intended to insult, but rather to describe the voice tones / sounds of those whose natural migrations out of Africa stopped in Asia and spread east to the Pacific and west to the Atlantic, and then immigrated elsewhere by transport.
