The hipster was annoyed by the Walmartification of his formerly totally hip town; chockful of niche grocery stores. Now with the town's niche grocery stores supplanted by Walmart; making his town have a full-on bland grocery situation.

I never thought it would become trendy for one's feelings to become the most important part of an explanation for a phenomenon. Methought that one's feelings would more likely be more of a peripheral matter in regards to explaining a phenomenon. I suppose those who prefer radical subjectivity think of my preference for observation & reasoning to be unsympathetic.
