A place or state of suffering inhabited by the souls of sinners who are atoning for their sin of inflicting very bad puns - including memes - on others before they are allowed into to heaven.
When Patty appeared before Peter he assigned her to pungatory to atone for a lifetime of bad Facebook puns and shared memes.

a progressive politician, political appointee, or civil servant who is dedicated to the proposition that it is only through submission and absolute obedience to the state will the masses know peace. Seeks to bring Orwellian politics to reality.
The distopiacrats have enacted a new PSA for euthanasia - "Why put it off - go out on your terms! Now, please, citizen." It's a hoot - and even has a link to order your own do-yourself-off-at home kit.
