An occurance in which someody acts stupid and oblivious to the conversation. A "Tarek" may also be considered somebody who tends to pretend that he\she is black.

When somebody plots to divorce an unlucky couple on one of the partners birthdays by placing a fake wedding ring into the girlfriends glass.
