Refering to when a car is producing enough exhaust to spin the the turbochargers turbine fast enough to create noticeable boost.

My GT30R turbo spool up at about 4,500 RPM.

Big Block 

A piston engine which has a displacement of 6.0 liters or more , often in the form of a V8.

The LS7 in my car is a big block, it has more then 7 liters in displacement.
