A highly regarded public figure in Fire/EMS, John Jacob Jeanald is a mysterious man who is often not seen by the people who refer to him. Some claim that he does work in the field but his co-workers will say otherwise. The name "Jeanald" has become associated with someone who does something questionable, but it should be known that Jeanald is a real person and he is out there somewhere.

Short for Jeanald, Jean is just a lazier way to get your point across when someone is being a Jeanald in the firehouse or at home. Jean is a versatile word and can be altered into other names such as Jeanson or Jean Jacob, if you see a Jean, refer to them properly so they know they’re being a good ole Jeanald. Never Jean your John if avoidable.
