Desimoria (noun)
IPA: /dɛˈsɪmɔɹiə/
From memoria desiderii (Latin, “memory of longing”) — blended as desi- (“to long for”) + -moria (“memory”).

A bittersweet emotional state in which you feel fully present in a place, moment, or scene never personally experienced — calm, reflective sadness mixed with wonder, born from sensing that the moment cannot be permanently inhabited. It’s the feeling of recognizing beauty or memory older than your own life, as if imagination and history briefly overlap.
"Standing in the ruins, I felt pure Desimoria — like remembering something I never lived."
"That old war photograph gives me Desimoria every time I see it."
"She wandered the museum Desimorically, lost in centuries she never knew."
