Paying back friends and acquaintances painfully slowly for goods and services paid for in advance on their behalf.

Everyone in the league paid their dues on time but the commissioner still Danny-dallied and took 10 months to pay the winners.

Please don't Danny-dally, I bought the tickets, but I need the money ASAP for hookers and beer.
