Progain
Short for "propaganda gain." The act of generating profit, wealth, power, or personal advantage by creating, spreading, or exploiting a lie. It describes the specific rewards someone harvests after successfully deceiving an audience or the public with a false narrative.
Sandwiched
Being caught in a position where multiple independent opponents happen to surround you from opposite directions. Even if they aren't working together, you have no easy escape route because fleeing from one threat forces you directly into the line of fire of another.
I got completely sandwiched in dodgeball. Bob and Jacob weren't even on the same team, but they were throwing the ball past me from both sides, meaning I couldn't move without getting hit.
