Siggying

When someone says they’ll attend an event or follow through on a commitment—usually because they want to avoid disappointing others, or simply can’t say no—but ends up bailing at the last minute or ghosting entirely.

Often happens because the person has overcommitted and made too many plans, leaving them stretched too thin to actually follow through.
“Don’t hold your breath waiting for Derek to show—He's probably siggying again. Said yes to three different parties tonight.”
