The Facebook notifications you get when other people comment on things you have also commented on, write on event walls of which you are attending, or other useless notifications that are not aimed at you thus creating a false sense of gratification for having a said notification(s).

When Mark Zuckerberg and the Facebook team change something about the website it is unavoidable and incontestable, Facebook = real life, therefore Mark Zuckerberg is the internet dictator.
