Stemcology is the science of evaluating the therapeutic potential of stem cell secretions. Although the field comprises of broad pharmacology principles, it is specifically focused at understanding the pharmacological action/s of stem cell secretome/s at physiological / sub-pathological concentrations with a major aim to achieve specific and selective therapeutic effects.
Novel small molecules are developed by adopting principles of stemcology for treating cardiac diseases.
