dog wedding

An actual wedding for canine companions especially in the case of a "shotgun wedding" for dogs. Not harmful to any dogs or witnesses and typically happens in parts of the country where premarital relations are frowned upon.

I got to attend two dog weddings when I was growing up in the Bible Belt since "dogs are people too therefore dogs shouldn't have puppies out of wedlock".

This Cooks My Duck

An expression that can be used before "your goose is cooked" when said as you're upset or after hearing "your goose is cooked" as a casual response.

To friend: "Well this cooks my duck and your goose is cooked".
Or
From friend: "Your goose is cooked".
You: "Nah. This cooks my duck. So what?"
