UC Merced

The newest UC (established in 2005), it's had its ups and downs. It's campus is being gradually expanded with new facilities, including a full medical education building. Due to a weird composition of the earth's crust in the central valley, UC Merced's experienced gravity is roughly 9.797 m/s^2 (as opposed to the typical 9.81). There are two main cafeterias on campus, neither of which serve "good" food, though they are supplemented by local food trucks. Due to the local agricultural industries, weird smells are unfortunately common.

"Why does it smell like shit outside?"

"That's just UC Merced."
