Modern hedonism - neohedonism. Belief that the purpose of life is to achieve pleasure through any means necessary.
Drugs, porn, video games, tiktok, youtube etc etc.

A: Bro what's wrong with your friend he finds nothing interesting.
B: Yeah he's gotten hooked into neohedonism, he averages 5+ hours on his phone daily. How can he find talking with his friends interesting if he can see 30 different videos on his phone at any minute?
