Oldfarticis: "The act of creating, renovating, or adapting, a place, item, or anything in general to make it safe, comfortable, and suitable for use by the aged mostly of the male sex."
Last November approaching my 79th birthday, I started the renovation of my condo with the express purpose of being able to age/die in place. It suddenly occurred to me, as an old fart, that that was, indeed, what I was doing oldfarticising my dwelling to make it comfortable and safe for me in my old age. And that is how i explained to my contractor, friends, and family in person, on Facerbook or via email what I was doing.

Oldfarticise: My older brother, having often maintained that he would never enter an assisted living facilities, decided instead to olfarticise his apartment, thus allowing him to both age and die in place.
