an adapted cross between badger and panda which came to mean 'in a mood'

Bander 

A combination of badger and panda that came to mean frolicking freely, and jumping and skipping about and general energetic fun. Also can be used for describing random walks for no real reason, bit like rambling.

"that kitten is bandering about"
"sam's gone for a quick bander"
"Anyone up for a bander?"
