One of the greatest players of all time and also one of the most unnecessarily hated players of all time. Drafted in 2003 at the age of 18, he was already being compared to Michael Jordan. Somehow, he lived up to the hype. Most of the definitions are from (understandably) salty Cavs fans back in 2010 when he left Cleveland. He has multiple rings, MVPs, finals MVPs, just about everything. He's fourth in NBA history in total points with a legitimate chance to become number one all time. He's also top ten in assists with nearly 9000 total rebounds. His most notable career moment was when he came back to beat the Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals after being down 3-1, winning Cleveland their first major sports championship in 52 years. He ended up winning finals MVP after leading every player from both teams in every statistical category. He used to be labeled a choker and now he has become one of the most clutch players of all time statistically.

The thing most people hate him for is his ESPN special where he announced he was going to the Miami Heat back in July 2010. The ESPN special ended up raising over $3 million dollars for charity.

He was recently in the news being slandered to no end because he was celebrating with the kids at his son's basketball game. No surprise there. He's built a school for less fortunate kids in Cleveland and that's just one of many great things he's done for the community. Sixteen years after he was first drafted, he's still going strong.
“The numbers don’t lie. He’s right there. He probably will never catch him in terms of MVP, but in terms of statistics, LeBron James is right there. And when you look across the board — not just scoring — check his assists, check his rebounds … he’s probably ahead of Jordan.”
