Noun. Women or girls who get angry with someone they know (who could be male or female) may go into a state of huff in which they will pointedly and illogically ignore the offending person for a considerable period of time.

Cricket practice equipment consisting of a single wicket surrounded by nets which prevent the ball being hit a long way. Used for practising bowling and batting without fielders.

A phrase used for congratulations, admiration, agreement, etc. It conveys a general sense of enthusiastic approbation.

A: I got 96% in my Financial Accounting exam.

splash my boots

Verb, transitive: "To splash my boots" is a British army expression meaning to go for a pee in the outdoors (on manoueuvres, etc. when a regular lavatory isn't available.) The action of forceful micturation against a tree or similar tends to cause a splashback onto the boots.

I'm bursting for a piss. I'm just off to splash my boots.

Onomatapaeic word describing the sound made when a DJ scratches a record back and forth rapidly on the turntable (that is, he rotates the record rapidly in either direction).

"Wiki wiki wiki..." scratched the DJ, before going on to lay down some tunes.
