R9 280X

The refreshed/rebranded version of the HD 7970 GHz Edition, based on the same Tahiti XT2 chip (AMD used the Tahiti XTL one later on). Also a OK GPU to buy in times like this, even though AMD ended support for pre-Polaris GPUs like this one

The R9 280X is still a solid GPU, matching the 1050 Ti even though it has a TDP of 275W

GTX 770

Literally a rebrand/refresh of the GTX 680 with 2-5 more FPS (AFAIK), just like how AMD rebranded/refreshed the R9 280X which was basically the HD 7970 GHz Edition

The GTX 770 is a GTX 680 in disguise
