Aragorn is one of J.R.R. Tolkien's characters in The Lord of the Rings tirilogy. He goes by many aliases, such as Estel, Elessar, Strider, and more. He was born March 1st, TA 2931 and died March 1st, FO 120. His parents were Arathorn II and Gilraen. He married Arwen Undomiel, an elf, and they had a son named Eldarion and several daughters. He was raised in Rivendell after his father died when Aragorn was 2. He is one of the Dúnedain, a race of men blessed with long life, and the heir to the throne of Gondor, but travels as a ranger from the North. He is one of the two men in the Fellowship. He is played by Viggo Mortensen in the movies.
