Hollister Co. is a clothing brand owned by Abercrombie and Fitch. It is basically marketed to young teens, high schoolers, and college jocks, or other groups of people who have not yet developed any sense of fashion. Much like Abercrombie fills an entire store with polo shirts and jeans that all look exactly alike with the exception of stripe width and color, Hollister follows suit only with a West Coast twist. Shirts may have catchy "Californian" sayings on them, so kids in Iowa can pretend they're surfers. The clothing is not as overpriced as Abercrombie, but the price points still remain high enough so that middle class teenagers, who couldn't spell Couture with a dictionary in front of them, can believe they have style.
Hollister fanatic: "I use my mom's money to buy clothes at Hollister that everyone else at my middle school wears. I'm so stylish."

Alternate Hollister Co. fanatic: "I'm a 20 year old college sophomore that shops at Hollister. I have the same fashion sense as the common middle schooler. I'm so pathetic."
