A term used by people on online gameplay, which is used to counter the fact they messed up or are losing.

John: The lag is real man!
Dylan: Why, cause you got killed?
John: What!?!?
Dylan: You were standing in the open.
John: No way man i was behind the rock!
John: Common man! The lag is real!
