Cordship 

The act of seeking someone's affections electronically. A courtship conducted via email, text messaging, phone calls; basically anything but actual human contact.

"I like him, but I don't know him well enough. I haven't been able to get to know him that well from our cordship."

"I've been cording her, and I want to meet face to face now!"
