Tranquility of denial 

A state of mind to describe either a conscious decision to ignore stressful situations or a “place in your mind” that you go to temporarily escape life’s tough situations.
1. I can believe how calm he is after his house was destroyed, he must be experiencing the “tranquility of denial.”

2. I can’t deal with all this stuff I need to spend the weekend in my “tranquility of denial’ place.
