Feel as though I can't breathe
I've been so focused on finding meaning in the silence that I chose only to see the things that gave me hope for a 'someday'
When I hear you say those words though, I just feel crushed every time. I'm forced to remember that for my someday to happen what you have with her would have to fail and I don't want to be forever waiting on the sidelines for lives to fall apart
The thought of not seeing you is so painful but I'm finding the longing, and the waiting for next time, just unbearable
I'm forever grateful to the stars that aligned to bring you into my life but I need time to work out how to manage my feelings so that I can go back to enjoying your company and accepting things, rather than living in this cycle of if only
