Abbreviation of 'Random Error Message Generator' - used for poorly designed software which tends to give random error messages, and the devs don't offer any help, as if it was meant to be that way.

A - OK, so I fixed one termbase problem with my REMG, only to get a different error message

B - Yup, it takes you round in circles
