Playing a very intense game on the Nintendo 64. The term originated from the sound made by the joystick of a Nintendo 64 controller.

Staring at a TV screen without blinking for long periods of time due to specific video games. Games that may induce frying eyes include rockband, guitar hero, and a variety of intense fighting games.
