Tedward is the term for an Edward who wishes to be called "Ted" despite not being a Theodore.
1. His name is Edward but he'd rather you call him Ted; if you don't want to then you can just call him Tedward.

2. Tedward Kennedy sure was making interesting faces during the Sate of the Union speech.
