improve + improvisation. The act of making up a plan on the spot and it resulting in something good.

Dude1: Whoa! That totally worked! How did you do that?

Dude2: I don't know.

Dude1: Nice improovisation!

The imagination of a curmudgeon or old person. Usually applies to something that only an old person would think of.

Grandpa: Robots are trying to break down the door!
Dude: Gramps, no one is at the door. It's just your curmudgination.
