When a red-headed (ginger) man or woman walks out into freezing temperatures with wet hair. Their ginger hair freezes, thus, turning them into a gingsicle.
Ginger: I had just showered and went outside to get the newspaper in sub-zero weather, and my hair totally turned into a gingsicle!
