Slopocalypse
A portmanteau of slop & apocalypse, 'slopocalypse' is a term embodying the idea that all fronts of contemporary culture (and society by proxy) are being subject to varying levels of degradation, whether by affect of deliberate malice, or simply just neglect stemming from indifference by the parties involved. The general idea is conceptually related to enshittification, although much greater in scope and not strictly confined to the software or corporate spaces, but more broadly applicable to everything: video games, movies, subcultures/online communities, material products, food, ideas and even people to some extent.
In simpler terms, slopocalypse is the specific phenomenon of continued decrease in quality, fulfillment, and memorability of experiences when engaging with products, platforms, concepts and people, seemingly simultaneous across the board, and with no clear end in sight or promise of things getting better; in other words, an absence of authentic outlets of catharsis with no genuine alternatives on offer.

YouTube commenter A: "Microsoft, Google, Sony, Roblox, and now what, even LEGO and Games Workshop are pushing massively unpopular decisions, all while being entirely anti-consumer and falling on deaf ears when it comes to any community feedback... what is this, the year of the slop?"
YouTube commenter B: "...more like, the slopocalypse
