Definitions by From Saint Agnes to Egypt

I don’t know… maybe I realized it a little late,
But
everything happens in its own time.
That day, I knew
how much I love you.
Just a moment before I reached the door,
it felt like a wave hit behind me.
Words lost their clarity.
You said something…
“God protect you,”
or “I entrusted you to God.”
Your wave came before the words—
stronger,
confusing,
erasing the words.
It was the second time I felt it,
stronger than the first time,
completely clear.
I wanted to turn back and look into your gentle eyes,
but it was as if someone wouldn’t let me.
A voice in my head said,
“If you turn back, leaving will be harder.”
I went out the door,
119
1029

the one who came in
was no longer the same person.
119: That day, I knew how much I love you.

There is no hell when I am in your love;
I have walked beyond the gates of hell.
No heaven can ever match your love;
I have soared past heaven itself.
Beyond hell, beyond heaven,
Only God remains—
I meet Him in your love.
8 is beyond hell and heaven

They pour me wine that makes me drunk, yet leaves my intoxication alive.
If I tumble into true drunkenness, their lashes wake me, keeping me conscious.
It takes away my power of choice and will, plunging me into surrender and acceptance.

Reality of Love

My beloved,
Have you read On the Reality of Love by Sheikh Suhrawardi?
I have.
Honestly, I found it hard to understand.
I didn’t grasp much.
Yet, I know how Love brought Zuleikha to the slave market,
and why Sheikh, among all the historical women in love, chose Zuleikha as the bearer of love,
even though history often criticizes her.
With gratitude to God, Love, and you, my sacred man, I understand her now.
She rises, a radiant archetype of the devoted soul.
Reality of Love is the cycle of transformation.

The Eternal Dance

There are many kinds of women within me. To others, I show just one of them, but when it comes to you, they all become one. In one moment I see you as a passionate lover; in the next, I see you like a cute baby, and I long to care for you. Moments later, you are my dearest friend, and in an instant, like a saint praising her God, I worship you. It’s like a dance; you begin with me and guide me, showing which role I should play.
The Eternal Dance is about becoming one
I am born in 1029.
In every calendar.
With one calendar, I came into this world.
Probably searching for you.
With another calendar, I fell in love with you.
That day too,
in its own way,
I was born again.
The woman who entered your room in 1029,
though she left,
is worlds apart.
Why is loving you like this?
It never ends.
It never diminishes.
It never finds rest.
It only accelerates.
Racing.
Faster and faster.
And I understood.
I must not touch its flow.
Because no matter which way it turns,
it only grows stronger.
I have learned.
To love it in silence.
Only to love.

Love & Peace
In the psyche of every woman live many women.

Saint Agnes and Zolikha,

the most powerful archetypes,

are always in conflict,

yet within me they rest in peace and union,

all because

the love I carry for you.
