Webster's Law
Webster's Law states that no matter what the subject, a discussion posted in the Real Ale Twats - Viz Facebook group will always reference Doom Bar at some point. This is because of the ubiquity and generic nature of Doom Bar.
(after discussing dispense method for several threads)
-I don't care how my beer is served, so long as it's not Doom Bar.

Emerson Unit
An Emerson Unit defines the number of matches (Swedish standard) that need to be lit, and extinguished, in order to mask the smell of a fart.
This is similar to the Scoville Units, which indicate the number of drops of water to fully dilute the strength of a chilli.
