Fragglita 's definitions
A retired Fraggle who has aged out of the chaos but not out of the delusion. A Haggle is an old hag-adjacent creature who now spends their time loudly “identifying” Fraggles in the wild, mistaking familiarity for insight and projection for wisdom.
Easily recognized by their bitterness toward younger Fraggles, a Haggle resents the fact that they no longer possess the stamina, charisma, or tools they once relied on during their own Fraggle era. This jealousy often manifests as moral superiority, unsolicited diagnoses, and a compulsive need to rewrite history as though they were merely an observer—never a participant.
Haggles believe their past somehow grants them authority, when in reality it only explains why they recognize the behavior so quickly. Frequently confused, a Haggle forgets that the reason they “know one when they see one” is because they once were one—just with worse coping skills and fewer excuses.
Common traits include selective amnesia, loud judgment, and the uncanny ability to insult others while insisting they’ve “grown.”
