Acronym for: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Members of this group work to spread a common love for all animals by promoting veganism and the humane treatment of animals.
PETA believes that it is completely unnecessary and cruel that cows, pigs, and chickens are often fully conscious during slaughter.
