abayo

Abayo is a Somali word for sister as in siblings.

It can be used in many ways:

-used in Islam as we are all considered brothers and sisters within the faith.
- can also be used as a sign of endearment to your wife. (For the husband, it would be abowe - brother)

Zahra : abayo can you get me the cloth on the table?

Sahra : (haa- which means yes in somali) ofc abayo (gives cloth to Zahra)

Zahra : thank you abayo
