CEV (noun)
Short for "Catfish Engagement Vampire."
A person who creates an appealing online persona and actively seeks attention, conversation, flirtation, validation, or emotional investment from others despite having little or no intention of forming a genuine connection, meeting, participating, or following through. Their primary goal is to consume engagement, attention, and emotional energy for personal entertainment and validation.
