Verb. Misspelling of hold. Usually written in all-CAPS. Used by investors in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies - especially when there a large, sudden, price drop - to mean, “Hold on! Don’t sell! Ride it out!”

You: “OMG! Bitcoin price just dropped 22% in one day!!”

Me: HLOD!!
