dramacracy

A culture in which political discourse is directed by sensationalist journalism, such that the most influential opinions and headlines will be the most shocking or dramatic-sounding, regardless of context or veracity.
"This whole useless debate about an out-of-context remark from Romney proves what a dramacracy we've become."

"Oh, he's just a dramacrat. He didn't actually listen to the speech; he just posted it because WorldNetDaily said it proved Obama was a socialist or some crap like that."
