A competitive situation in which whoever loses must do a forfeit, not to be confused with "challenge", in which there can be a consequence to losing but not at all times.
Person A: I challent you, you idot!
Person B: Don't you mean "challenge"?
Person A: No, I want you to do a forfeit if I win, so it's a challente!
