dehypnotize

To bring someone out of a hypnotic state. The term was coined in 1843 by James Braid, the father of experimental hypnosis. Unlike other terms such as hypnotism, hypnosis, hypnotize, etc., it never achieved mainstream usage.
It is important to remove any extraneous suggestions before you dehypnotize the subject.
