What the Puck? 

An exclamation of disbelief or confusion. The term is derived from the Shakespeare character, Puck, in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and the common curse, 'What the fuck?"

An exclamation of surprise or confusion, similar to "What the Puck?". German version: "Was der Hund?"
